Much about nothing
Well I had to finally switch over to the new blogger and it is not so bad, but I am having a bit of trouble posting comments to other blogs. No matter how is try to sign in, to post my comment, it tells me my pass word is wrong. So if I have not commented for a while you know why.
It was a pretty good weekend, spent all day Friday with my son doing various things, played darts Friday night and have a good time and took 4th place, laid on the couch all day Saturday and did nothing...love those days, played darts Saturday night, did not win anything but had a great time seeing all that were there, did nothing Sunday but laundry and some reading.
This coming weekend is a dart tournament here in PA, it is only about 20 minutes or so from the house but it is a nice little get away weekend as I always stay. The tournament used to be states but not for quite a few years, it is starting to get big again so I think they may make it states again if they have not already. This is one of my favorite tournaments as there are so many people there and I know a lot of them. I am sure a good time will be had by all.
This morning when I can in, I had originally planned on a Valentines Day post and how much that I hate it and that everyone should let their loved ones know how special they are all of the time and not just on this one day, but I decided against it as I thought that maybe I felt so badly about it this year more so than any other year since I have no one to tell me that I am special not do I feel special. And that is all I have to say about that.
It is funny, last week we were at below zero temps and it was freezing in here, now that we are in the 20's it seems like the heat has decided to work and it is a hot house in here, there is never any happy medium with the tempatures at work. Now we are preparing for snow and freezing rain...just what I wanted. I really need to consider moving to a warmer climate where it does not snow, then again with the freaky weather these days, is anywhere safe?
For Christmas I bought my son a MP3 player, but my computer was not up to date to download WMP 11 so I ordered the XP service pack 2 to install. When I got it and tried installing it the first time I got an error stating that it would not load one of the files....needless to say I gave up. Yesterday I sat down again and everything went smoothly and I loaded the MP3 player with a bunch of songs he wanted. I was very excited about this accomplishment, more so than he was about having his MP3 player that has been collecting dust since Dec 25th. Now I really want one or maybe even an ipod, so I think I will sometime this month.
Well it seems that I have rambled on long enough, got to get ready for Gratitude Tuesday. Have a wonderful evening.
